Hydro excavation is a non-mechanical, non-destructive process that uses pressurized water and an industrial-strength vacuum to simultaneously excavate and remove soil. As the high-pressure water breaks up the soil, the soil and water slurry are then vacuumed into a debris tank onboard the truck.
