Hyrdo-Excavating

Hydro excavation is a non-mechanical, non-destructive process that uses pressurized water an industrial strength vacuum to simultaneously excavate and remove soil. As the high pressured water breaks up the soil, the soil and water slurry is then vacuumed into a debris tank onboard the truck. Our hydro-excavation services are quickly becoming the go-to-excavation-method for small to large scale projects for Metro Detroit’s major power providing companies.

Hydro excavation is the safest and most efficient method of exposing underground utilities. Since it uses water to break up the ground and vacuum to remove the debris, the risk of damaging buried utilities is virtually eliminated, unlike traditional mechanical or manual excavation methods. Not only is hydro excavation faster and more accurate, but it also does less damage to the surrounding soil thus minimizes site restoration time, expenses and reduces environmental impact.
